NEW GALLERY!! I now have work at the Pier Street Gallery in Campbell River, BC. In addition to original artwork, the Gallery will also have framed prints of my work. Drop in and visit.
More Good News!! As of February 25, I have a new camera with a much stronger telephoto. It's a Coolpix S4. I can continue to photo artwork for the web, and..., take some fabulous photos of my island.

A sad story: I had just taken these photos of a blue heron fishing in a tidepool near the studio, when I dropped my camera in the water -- salt water that is..., the camera is no more. Alas. |

A Much HAPPIER STORY: I love surprises. A call from New York a few weeks ago was a very pleasant surprise. Three remarkable and talented women who took a month-long Hollyhock study & service workshop with Jodi and I (drawing, watercolor & natural materials), recently created time together in the Big Apple to visit and do some of the galleries. A call to say "Hello, and wish you were here!!" certainly brightened my day. They even sent a photo of a studio session to prove they are following the muse. I'm also pleased to report that the artwork in the background is one of mine, very attractively framed and in a fine setting. Thanks folks! See below |
