I find it astonishing how the light changes during the course of a day, in different locations, in different parts of the province. Here a pale sun is just visable in a partly overcast sky. The watercolour paint doesn't dry quickly, or at all under these circumstances, adding an additional challenge and the need to leave a small border between some colours so that they can't bleed together.
