Dianne Bersea - artist, designer Studies and workshop images 2008 / early 2009 I like to use the term 'study' to describe any work that is a response to direct observation and created spontaneously with whatever materials are at hand. To me the 'study' is the artist's mind and heart at work and can be a finished work in its own right or a prelude to deeper investigation.
