I've done a lot of whimsical art over the years...cartoons, charicatures and whimsical aerial landscapes. I enjoy seeing a smile generated by my work. My desire to do more whimsical illustration was more than fulfilled this past summer when I illustrated this children's book on the famous Martin Mars air tankers.
Recently acquired by the Coulson family and the Coulson Aviation Group, these famous planes have been completely overhauled and refurbished and put into wildfire fighting service worldwide. Follow the adventures of hero "Martin" and his sister plane "Phillipa". These Martin Mars water bombers are some of the oldest, and largest aircraft still active.
Martin even has a special feature no other plane can claim. When buildings and structures are threatened with wildfire Martin is equipped to drop a biodegradeable gel directly on them.
You'll have to buy the book and read the story to see all the marvels of Martin's story and fully appreciate my illustrations.
