Returning visitors know all about our extensive beaches, deep forests, rushing rivers, great hikes, fresh oysters, and other island highlights! Add in the wonder of seeing and painting with artistic vision and you have a worthy adventure indeed!

As a sixteen-year island resident of Cortes Island and before that in Calgary, fthe Kootenays & Victoria, Dianne is an experienced workshop facilitator. Dianne brings island life up close in a creative and personal way. Through artistic and creative exercises, art projects, outdoor painting in watercolour (a specialty!) you will see with new eyes, learn about our environment and meet the natural world on its own terms.

Bring your palette and brushes or we can supply an art kit. Art Retreats provide a marvelous private or group art vacation -- art classes in drawing, watercolour, acrylic, landscape and natural forms (your choice), with space & time for your own projects.

Inspiring opportunities and vistas abound. Book a kayak paddle, island cruise or spa treatment (Thai, hot stones etc). And paint, paint, paint!
