"Spirit Keepers"

As I write these commentaries I am realize how clear my vision, message, intent has become. Many years ago, (I was an idealistic 16 year old at the time), I wrote a vision for my life, my vision statement. I saw my role as a witness and record keeper especially of natural events. I'm surprised and pleased how closely my life today reflects that intent. Each of these paintings bears witness as I do when I sit quiety observing. I called this painting "Spirit Keepers", when that is exactly what I believe these powereful bluffs are, keepers of the spirit of place, of centuries old trees..., keepers of ancient messages in their crystals.
