"Pam's Beach Hut" A birthday present commission encouraged me to explore a new stretch of beach. I discovered this driftwood beach construction below the birthday person's cliff side home. To create an on-site painting studio, I leaned into the salal until I was comfortably supported and began sketching. The clouds closed in as I worked and it snowed before the day was over. A window of opportunity indeed! This is the painting from that study.
