I've always enjoyed cartooning. It's a wonderful way to share my humor and
thoughts on current events. I've contributed my cartoon outlook to official documents,
school and university newspapers and, supplied friends with cartoons of themselves or others.
For a year I chronicled the political events and upheavals of my neighbourhood in Calgary for the
local community paper. Most recently, I provided political cartoons to an
alternative newspaper on Vancouver Island.

This is my take on B.C. Premier Gordon Campbell's arrest for 'driving under the influence of intoxicants and his uncompromising response. He's still our premier. I like the idea of Santa bringing all the presents he feels we need. Among the obvious gifts of goodwill and joy, Santa's bag contains recyclable containers, a high self esteem doll & a promise to keep our electric company a public utility.

There used to be a television ad that made the claim that "Nothing stays the same any longer than it takes to change it." It's a sad statement as we humans need a certain amount of stability in our lives. But there's always going to be a street where once a river flowed or flowers bloomed. Or..., maybe not? These kids seem to need the same kind of discipline and wisdom our good government needs. Surely violence isn't the only way to solve problems.
